TOWARDS A BETTER NEW YEAR?
in about an hour, it'll be the start of the golden rat year!
i am hoping that the arrival of the new year will sort of refresh stuff and bring good things... so i decided to have my room painted.
7 years of untouched walls
well, initially the color chosen and bought was celery green. but it turned out horrible on my walls!! it looks as if it was glow-in-the-dark kind of color except it's not glowing but blinding... not a color to choose for bedrooms! my mother disagreed to the color. and so did i... ( we painted parts of the wall already, luckily nippon odorless is water-based... so we wiped it off in time... )
ended up we bought some peachy color. spend one whole day, painting walls. messy, dirty and definately damn tiring.
the resulting color wasn't peachy at all... it was more of milkish, reminds me of condensed milk. i couldn't tell if it was because of the painted walls or the change of room lights that made my room looks bigger and brighter now...
just add rose syrup and you get bandung...
anyway, its all good.
a few random words i want to say...
nippon odorless is as good as i expected, but still air your room after painting.
i woke up from my afternoon nap today and the song, "sing a song of sixpence, a pocket full of rye..." pops into my head. i wonder why...
and i find this website on fortune very interesting.
so that's it... now... here's to a new start for all the people that matters!
