阿Ger's Bigfish Life

we worked on this science project about making perfumes, and i kept the project's folio after that. it was a rather simple concept, but the material were expensive. we bought a roll of film to take pictures of the process of making perfume. gwen was the photographer, while sarah and i model our hands. hee...

so we had extra film when we were done. we decided to take photos of us with the remaining film and paste them on the last page of our folio for fun. gwen was good with clip art graphics, and designed the page with 3 tombstones side by side. then our cut out faces were placed on the tombstones. i didn't know why we did that but it was funny.

once again, i present you the three of us...

and then, the cut out photos of us... let's start with sarah!!

i still remember the first time i met her. she was so fierce. haha... she came up to my desk and banged on it and said, "eh what's your name?!". during role playing, she almost always act as a guy, but looked how she've changed, she's all girly and sweet now!

up next is gwen!!

gwen sat next to me in class, and on first day of school, she lended me a pen. how nice. during role playing, she acts as the mother, queen, a maid called 小梨, or some princess.

last but not least, its me?

as for me... i used to be quiet and shy. i rarely talk, and i am definately not the geraldine you knew. during role playing, i would be either the daughter or a maid called 小苹果. hahaha.

don't we look cute then?? hee hee...

and because we were so good at acting, we acted for a chinese new year play one year. i was acting the role of the youngest daughter. because of that, i wore a children dress (which fits me perfectly then) and tied two really high poly tails with ribbons! i kept the newsletter that featured a small picture of us, but i don't know where it is now...

anyway... i've been on a borland course at habourfront for the whole of this week. on friday, i didn't know what happened but i kind of felt sway? i stubbed my toe in class, and then didn't noticed that it was bleeding. then when lessons ended, i took off my glasses because my vision was weird, and my frames broke! booo. so i am being forced to get new glasses.

the funny thing is, i was thinking about getting new glasses recently and this happened. the last time i was thinking of changing my handphone and my handphone got lost... i better not think so much.

one fine day at work, i received a call from my secondary school friend, bingling gwen. this is what i thought i had heard. she said she is going to get married on the 18th of july and asked me if i could attend her dinner. since we were such good friends in secondary school, i naturally agreed. we then arrange a day for her to pass me the invitation.

on another fine day, i met her for lunch at bugis. it was only after 10 minutes into a conversation did i realise that she was not the one getting married, instead it was her younger sister. and to think that i spend a few days feeling happy and excited that she is getting married. boo. anyway, i knew her sister. besides a few of my secondary school friends will be there, so i can take this chance to meet up.

this is the bride, bingbing!!

i met a few friends which i haven't seen for a very long time. bingling gwen then asked me if i have met her younger brother alvin. i tried to recollect how her brother looked like, but i could only remember that he has really small eyes. she called her brother over, and asked him if he remembered me.

look how big he has grown!! thank god, i still look young. wahaha.

"你还记得这个姐姐吗?", bingling gwen said. surprisingly, he actually remembered me! he mentioned that i used to play lode runner with him. and that jolted my memory! yes!! lode runner!! come to think of it, bingling gwen, her brother and i loved to play lode runner. i would stay back after project meetings just to play lode runner with them. we were so into that game then, and tried lots of stuff like spraying the bad guys and hanging them upside down.

teamwork is the key, but we still cheat a lot! adding extra lives and stuff.

which brings me to this... i want to introduce my good friends and project mates for secondary one and two. we were so good at doing projects together that we scored really well for all our projects. during our free periods, we would start to act out silly drama and plots.

stuff like, princess and maid. sometimes, mother and daughters... blar blar.

so here we are, 11 years later...

what an experience you know. attending 4 weddings in just one month! i even went to indonesia to attend one of them! just because the whole month is full of marrigy stuff, i was feeling rather excited. it was as if i am the one getting married??

EILEEN'S WEDDING @ HILTON

the very first wedding of june! eileen is my ex-colleague. we weren't familar with each other but i decided to come anyway. my favourite dish is the prawn and fruit salad with wasabi mayonnaise. yum!

CHUAN 哥'S WEDDING

up next is my cousin's wedding. chuan 哥 is one of my closer cousin at my dad's side. since we share the same surname and all that, i decided to give face and go! i burnt myself when i was ironing the dress i wore to his wedding, what a sacrifice. hehe.

DAVID'S WEDDING @ NEPTUNE

ahh david. a colleague i barely knew for a week! his wedding was at neptune, the really large restuarant near collyer quay. his dinner had a floral theme, so everyone was strongly adviced to turn up with flowery dressing. he had like 70 tables, performances by his father and mother-in-law, and lucky draw!! i almost thought i was at a dinner and dance. wahaha.

LONG'S WEDDING @ SURABAYA

and i thought 70 tables was impressive... long had like 110 tables, table escorts, a live band, dancers, invited a malaysia singer called xu wenyong, and fireworks?!!! i was like... wow.

guess what, i sat at the table that says, family long. hoho how honoured, i was long's family for the evening!! ahhhh!!!

i guess that's all the weddings for now! i kind of like my shocked expression pic i used when webbie was down, so i am going to append it to the end of every single entry!! woooooo... don't cha wish your expression was as shocking as me? don't cha? don't cha??! wahah.
